MELANIE? has evolved as I begin to trust myself, in life and as a musician. I’ve let go of the bad love, the bad ego, and the bad doubts that held me back from putting myself and my art into the world. I am no longer the insecure and scared person that cares about being misunderstood. I accept my imperfections and see them as what set me apart and make me special, rather than unworthy. Who is MELANIE? She is a work in progress, but she has found her voice, and it’s louder, more dynamic, and bigger than ever. It's influenced by the greats like Kurt Cobain and Robert Plant, but also modern heroes like Leon Bridges, Alabama Shakes and Marcus King Band. It is rock. it is blues. It is pop. It is pain. It is growth. It is self-love.
